Improving Team Motivation | Everybody on a team is motivated. They’re just motivated by different things and, sometimes, toward different things. The team can be more effective and engaged when each member knows how to get what he or she needs out of the process.
This short program helps participants pinpoint the things that drive their success on a team. Through the DiSC model, participants learn to appreciate the role that their environment has on their motivation.
Team members discover how to capitalize on their particular motivators in a way that makes the entire team more energized, dynamic, and successful.

In the process they gain a deeper appreciation of the contribution of each person. With this knowledge, teams and organizations are better equipped to take advantage of their strengths and avoid the pitfalls of working in a group.

RECOGNIZING THE IMPACT OF YOUR GROUP'S CULTURE | Just as individuals have unique styles, groups also tend to develop distinct styles or cultures. These cultures are informal combinations of behaviors values and attitudes that most people take for granted.
Put in the simplest terms, group culture is “the way we do things.” Although not everyone agrees or flows with the culture, most group members feel the pressure that a culture exerts to act in a particular way.
While DiSC does not address all elements of culture, it helps people understand many important needs goals, fears, emotions, and behaviors that contribute to it. In this course participants use DiSC to explore their group culture and understand all of its implications. Further, participants explore ways to contribute most effectively within their culture.
